The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for Wednesday, March 18 reveals Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will get bad news from Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford).
Also coming up, Lauren Fenmore (Tracey E. Bregman) will give Phyllis her answer. Plus, Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) and Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will plot their course. And Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) will make a suggestion to Billy.
Y&R spoilers tease Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) will greet Sienna Bacall (Tamara Braun) and Noah Newman (Lucas Adams) at Crimson Lights. They’ll sit around talking about Adam, Nick and Matt Clark (Roger Howarth) ad nauseum.
Sharon will get up to serve someone at the counter and Noah will get another text from Matt. “Make the most of your remaining day, I’ll see you soon.” Sienna will tell Noah to alert his mom but he’ll refuse. Instead, he’ll reply, asking Matt to stop being a coward and show his face.
Y&R Daily Scoop – Adam Lets Riza Know He’s Back In Las Vegas
In Vegas, Nick and Adam will walk into their suite. Adam will stare out the window at the strip. “Are you sure you’re still up for this?” Nick will ask his brother. Adam will admit it’s a little overwhelming. Nick will suggest he contact Riza Thompson (Tina Casciani), get any information about Matt, and go home.
“Why do you keep trying to get rid of me?” Adam will ask. And he’ll say he’s not going home early. Adam will tell Nick he plans to offer Riza some bait and pretend he wants back into some high stakes games. But he needs him to lay low for now. “That’s not happening,” Nick will reply.
Adam will get a phone number for Riza and warn Nick he needs to take this slowly. They don’t want to tip off Matt. Then he’ll call Riza. “It’s your old friend, Spider,” he’ll say. “I’m in town and I would love to see you if you’re free, call me.”
Meanwhile, Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) will return from his trip to New York. He’ll hand Lauren a bag of bagels. Lauren will note he’s not only returned with bagels but also a mustache. Michael will say he had a great time hanging out with their son Fen and he’ll suggest they head out on their own trip.
But Lauren will tell him she can’t, there’s an offer for a new opportunity she’s considering. “Phyllis has asked me to help her run Newman Enterprises,” she’ll add. “It’s not Newman anymore it’s Summer’s Conglomerate.” Michael will make a face and Lauren will say she needs a new challenge.
“Do you actually think Victor would stand by and let Phyllis reinvent his life’s work?” Michael will ask. He’ll worry Lauren will be caught in the crossfire. “I’m not going to be intimidated,” she’ll reply. However, she does want to talk it through with him.
Michael will ask if she has any sympathy for the Newmans. She’ll say Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) yes. But she won’t be shedding any tears for Victor Newman (Eric Braeden). Michael will say if she goes forward, she doesn’t need his permission.
Young And The Restless Scoop – Lauren Thinks They’ll Do Great Things
At Newman Enterprises, Billy will burst into the CEO office and tell Phyllis he, Kyle Abbott (Peter Bergman) and Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) rescued Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman). So there’s no reason to sign Chancellor back to the The Mustache.
“Victor had nothing to do with the release?” Phyllis will ask and Billy will say it was all them. “Now we can follow through with your original agreement,” he’ll add. “Sign Chancellor over to me, let’s make this happen. Now.” But Phyllis will say she can’t, she gave it to Victor. Billy will explode and ask why she’d do that.
Phyllis will say she did it for him, Jack and their family. “We made the trade, the Newmans have Chancellor, again.” Billy will be furious but Phyllis will say she’s not to blame. “Why didn’t you call me when you found Jack?” she’ll ask. “I wanted to help your family.” She’ll say the important thing is Jack is safe. “Billy, I know you don’t believe this but I wanted you to have Chancellor.”
Billy will head to Society and he’ll tell Sally that Jack’s okay but he’s devastated. Diane moved out of the house last night. He’ll say he’s got other bad news. Phyllis gave Chancellor back to Victor, not knowing Jack was already safe. “I lost it again.”
Sally will tell him she’s sorry but maybe him running Chancellor isn’t meant to be. Billy will say perhaps it’s time he actually backs off. Sally will suggest before he jumps into anything else, he should fly to London to spend time with his mom.
Finally, Michael and Lauren will arrive at Newman to see Phyllis. Michael and Phyllis will trade jabs and she’ll assume he’s talked Lauren out of taking the job. But Lauren will tell a thrilled Phyllis she’s in. “I think we can do incredible things together.”
